Aaliyah Garcia has been named the 2023-24 Fowler Fall Festival Queen and we are so proud of her and all of the candidates who worked so hard this year!
My name is Aaliyah Marie Garcia. I am the daughter of Henry Garcia and Melissa Galindo. I am very proud and honored to be given this opportunity to run as a candidate for Fowler Fall Festival Queen this year. To be able to represent our hometown, the Fowler Lions Club and be a role model for young girls is such an inspiration to me.
I am 15 years old and an incoming junior at Fowler High School. Throughout my years at Fowler High as a student athlete I work very hard to receive and maintain a 4.0+ GPA. I am involved in many honors classes as well as dual enrollment through Reedley College. I am also looking forward to being placed into Advanced Placement (A.P.) classes in the future. I am involved in many extracurricular activities such as varsity cheer, color guard, soccer, softball, founder/president of the debate club, CSF (California Scholarship Federation), and as well as many rigorous classes. I enjoy staying very active. In the future I plan to pursue my dream of becoming a family law lawyer. In my free time I volunteer at school events and events throughout the community.
Growing up I would look up to the girls running for Queen and see them as such a role model/inspiration. Seeing them represent our hometown and giving back so much to the community. Running for queen is something I look forward to, especially knowing that it will help the Fowler Lions Club continue to be able to give back to our community. I am very grateful to now be able to partake in such a wonderful long-standing tradition. As well as being able to represent my hometown and the Fowler Lions Club.
